Joe Henry Baker, 1989, London, England. Baker’s work explores light & movement in abstract form, creating numinous and ethereal works using various acrylics and fabric dyes. Often completed in a single sitting working “alla prima” (wet on wet), the practice is a delicate dance between chance and control, determined and irresolute.
