Located in Mexico, Taller Batán specialises in crafting a diverse range of multidisciplinary objects, each possessing a distinctive and expressive aesthetic that narrates a deeply personal story. Taller Batán thrives at the intersection of art, design, and craft, where the boundaries blur and creative possibilities expand. Batán, the birthplace and residence of most of our team, as well as the primary source of our wood, is comprised of two sister localities. In 2022, Acoocooro invited Taller Batán to collaborate in a form of a still-expanding series of sculptural objects, that originated in a line of research titled ''Meditations on time, Dance, and the Timeless'', based on T.S.Eliot's paradoxical definition of dance in his poem "Burnt Norton", an ongoing investigation of movement, organic flux, and light. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials upon request.
