Barber's work defines itself through i's solid contours and complex shapes - a visual simplicity, resulting in timeless designs that provoke a meditative visual experience. His studio utilises manufacturing and industrial processes throughout the local area, creating a line of furniture ready for home and to small scale commercial clients. An exploration into architecture at the scale of furniture. The steel structure is given a hand-applied patina with a waxed finish. Adding warmth to an otherwise cold form that invites the viewer to visually pass through the negative void. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials upon request.
