Swell Studio hones in on the design and fabrication of contemporary furniture and lighting. Founded by Mike White in 2017 while residing in New York, Swell Studio is inspired by shapes, textures and the human connection to the natural world. Featuring contemporary, handcrafted and honed pieces made with exceptional materials, elevated with artful, unexpected details. The Onna Credenza is a nod to the elevated details of Roman Architecture and the Vescia Piscis - a type of lens, a shape formed by two intersecting circles. The legs and pulls are sculpted from a byproduct of the large block milling process - giving life to a piece of stone that may have gone back into the quarry for water management or filler. This piece can be disassembled for easy moving and legs have been hollowed out to reduce weight. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials upon request.
