Founded by Marc Personick in 2022, NYC-based design studio Monolith focuses on collectible furniture and homeware by exalting natural beauty through heavy constructions and clean shapes. The studios debut collection "Sanctuary" takes form via nine designs that comprise of chairs, tables and more crafted from stone and wood.

Specifically, the collection utilizes locally sourced Jalapa Travertine, White Oak, Recinto Negro and Walnut. The pieces’ natural materials are enhanced by curved and straight-edge modular designs that convey of sense of contemporary refinement.

Crafted from 3 carefully constructed blocks, its curved figure emphasizes the connection between its parts. The heavily proportioned blocks appear to ‘float’ effortlessly above the ground.
