Born in Switzerland in 1971, Charles-Emmanuel Deppierraz is a self-taught designer with an atypical career path. A former senior executive, he discovered by chance at the dawn of his fifties a hidden talent and a passion for furniture and lighting design. He then developed a personal approach to design, bringing together emotions and exceptional know-how in original and timeless creations. Combining simplicity and purity of lines with noble materials and a search for excellence, he creates tailor-made pieces in limited editions by collaborating with the best art artisans in France. Deppierraz advocates the use of natural, sustainable materials, preferably local and of exceptional quality in order to create pieces that can be passed down through generations.
