In 2012 David Haymann launched Haymann Editions, with the purpose of becoming an “éditeur de mobilier”, a very French notion of commissioning from a designer a collection of original furniture pieces and manufacture them. Collaborating with new and upcoming designers, Haymann Editions challenges the notions of traditional shape and form. The “Betty” table and console, an exceptional piece that elegantly blends tradition and modernity. Its base, crafted in lacquered wood, rises in harmonious curves, evoking a ballet of softness and sophistication. Like a tribute to the fashion icon Betty Catroux, unforgettable muse of Yves Saint Laurent, this table embodies the rebellious and captivating spirit of bygone years. A smoked glass top adds a touch of mystery and refinement. Its subtle transparency reveals the delicate structure of the base, creating a fusion of lightness and solidity. The “Betty” table is much more than a mere piece of furniture.
