In 2012 David Haymann launched Haymann Editions, with the purpose of becoming an “éditeur de mobilier”, a very French notion of commissioning from a designer a collection of original furniture pieces and manufacture them. Collaborating with new and upcoming designers, Haymann Editions challenges the notions of traditional shape and form. This desk, with its curved and intricately cut top revealing an emblematic aesthetic, draws inspiration from the splendor of traditional woodworkers’ templates. A delicately curved chrome belt accentuates the base of this piece like a refined jewel, adding a touch of sophistication and finesse to the sculptural purity of the lacquered top and base in monochromatic tones. Available in all standard finishes with custom materials and sizing available upon request.
